Technical Superintendent Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience Reporting to: Fleet Manager Responsibilities Managing and maintenance of designated ships in accordance to the requirements of the Company's Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) Management System. Ensuring close monitoring of shipboard maintenance, repair and close follow up of running costs Requirements and maintenance of Surveys, Certifications and Charterers Attending to any stores /spares requests from ships Periodical maintenance of docking procedure Responsible for any damages and /or repairs that may give rise to an insurance claim Taking charge of handing over and delivery of vessels Submission of ships performance reports Carrying out of regular PA review of shipboard engineering staff Carrying out of trainings onboard ship and / or in office to address shipboard staff weakness   Requirements Certificate of Competency Class I Minimum 2 years relevant working experience as 2nd or Chief Engineer on tankers Proficient in using computers
